GENERAL TOUR INFO:
We will pick you up from your hotel in Dubrovnik just after breakfast (9 AM or earlier) and drive you to Ston, the salt producing town on the Pelješac peninsula. Visit the 14th century town with the longest fortified walls in Europe. Ston was an important town for the Dubrovnik Republic, which was the strongest and most prosperous in the 14th century... We will do the bike fitting in Ston, and from there you start with your bike ride along the Pelješac peninsula. You will be riding along the vineyards of Dingač and Postup, made from the Plavac Mali vines, the close cousin to Zinfandel of California and Primitivo from Calabria. We will point out some great wineries where you can taste Pelješac’s wines! Bike to Orebić, from where you will take ferry to island Korčula, your home for the next 2 nights.
