Exploring the island of Korčula - Marco Polo's home

Today you will explore the island of Korčula; its hidden coves, beautiful old towns, unique small villages and dark pine forests that cover the island. There are several options today, either ride on the easier coastal road or do some climbing and rolling hills.  Whatever you choose as a bike ride today, you will be making your way past vineyards, olive groves and dense woods. We will suggest some great places for lunch, where you will be tasting the traditional style; like homemade gnocchi, homemade macaroni, pašticada....and other meals which have been prepared by our ancestors... You might like to know that Korčula is producing some of the best Croatian white wines: Pošip, Rukatac or Grk, which will just add flavor to your lunch or dinner.
Another option today is just to relax and wander around Korčula - the Venetian fortified town with its narrow streets which are irresistible to today's visitor and impressed medieval travel writers like Marco Polo, who began his life journey in this town.
