Upon your arrival in Split you will meet our representative and get familiar with the area!
We suggest taking a walk around the 1700 years old Diocletian’s Palace, now inscribed in UNESCO’s World heritage list before departing for a walk along Marjan hill, recreational venue for locals. If you arrive early enough, you should definitely check out the vibrant green and fish markets, which are one of the highlights of present-day Split. The locals in Split have their real homes molded in the old walls of the Palace and inside of it you will find numerous cafés and restaurants serving fresh Mediterranean food!

Today you can decide whether you prefer morning or sunset season for a 4 hour scenic adventure around Marjan peninsula. This is a perfect paddling experience for all beginners, as we keep close to the shore. After an introduction in paddling techniques and safety, we’ll start on our way around the peninsula. As the scenery changes from secluded bays in shaded pine forests to pebble beaches, we`ll stop for a dip in one of the bays - a perfect location for snorkeling as well! Explore the “wild side” of Split from the sea level perspective, just minutes away from buzzing city center! Don`t forget to pack your swimming gear as we stop for a swim and snorkeling in one of Marjan’s secluded coves.

Sip another coffee and enjoy the view during the ferry ride from Split to Island Hvar. Start your hike along rocky path at the top of the Island, discovering abandoned villages once famous for lavender oil production. Second part of the hike takes you along numerous hidden bays of Hvar’s southern coast where you might want to have a swim in the turquoise waters before reaching Hvar town’s famous “piazza”, or promenade with many historical buildings built in the Venetian times.

After leisure breakfast you set off to the group of small islands called Pakleni Islands. The origin of the name goes back to old days when the islands were the main source of rosin for local shipbuilders. Today, just like then, the islands are covered with thick pine woods providing refreshing shade even during the hottest summer days. The route through narrow straits and along the islands reveals small hidden pebble beaches where you can enjoy the privilege of having, at least temporarily, a beach of your own, where you can swim, snorkel and relax. Returning back to Hvar town in the early afternoon hours.

Today in the morning we suggest to climb up through a park and visit Španjola fortress, for a great view of Hvar town, its harbor and surrounding islets! This fortress was built on the site of medieval castle, where you fill find collection of ancient amphorae. Once back in the town of Hvar, you might want to check Renaissance Theater, built in 1612, which probably is the first theatre in Europe and Benedictine Monastery, where collection of laces woven by the nuns from dried agave leaves. Later in the afternoon you depart with ferry to the town Korčula town, where you will spend next two evenings. During the history, Korčula was chosen by Venetians as a spot to build their important walled city on the northern shores of the island. Therefore, nowadays, thanks to that, we have most magnificent walled Korčula Old Town still preserved and almost intact for centuries.

This morning start your hike along the eastern part of Island Korčula. Today’s walk takes you along ancient villages, rocky paths dotted with cypress and pine trees, olive groves and aromatic Mediterranean vegetation. For lunch we suggesting tasting homemade pašticada or macaroni, as well as Pošip; most famous Croatian white wine produced on this Island. In the afternoon, walk along narrow cobblestone alleys of old town of Korčula, where famous world traveler Marco Polo started his world journey. In the historic center of town you might want to check out Cathedral of St. Marko, built in Gothic and Renaissance style.

The morning begins with the short boat ride to Pelješac Peninsula and the town of Orebić. The town itself was founded in the 15th century as a part of the Republic of Dubrovnik (Ragusa). As it was famous for seaman and its maritime tradition, there are many charming stone houses (villas) of the once famous sea captains you can see even today in Orebić. Your hike starts from Orebić, going along the southern slopes of Mt. Ilija, where you will be passing by secluded vineyards, old Franciscan monastery and enjoying great views on Korčula and Pelješac archipelago. When you get back to the coast, you will be passing along the waterfront of Kučište, all way to Viganj, another laid-back Dalmatian village.
Later this afternoon, you will make your way to the mainland. En route pass through Ston, where you will have to chance to discover the second longest stone wall in Europe, ancient salt works and the important role this area had in the 14th century for the Republic of Dubrovnik. After a short break, you will set off to the “Pearl of the Adriatic” - the town of Dubrovnik where you will spend the final evening on this trip!
